Masking SS# on I-9:

Removal of Auto-Population for Federal Form I-9, Section 1:

To ensure compliance, employees must complete federal Form I-9, Section 1 (Employee Information and Attestation), without any information auto-populating from their employee record. As a result, the August release will remove auto population of employee fields in Section 1 when a new Form I-9 is created manually, via an assigned checklist item, or other method. The fields in this section will show as blank and employees will be required to complete them manually.
